The kids have opted out of a Christmas concert to get loud for our Greenbelt instead!! Its time to get loud and help us by sharing with your local government. We want the Greenbelt for Christmas!!!

SUMMER

Summer means fun! After spring we deserve a break and by Niagara’s beaches and waterfalls is the best way to get it. Pollinators are out in full force and we can relax and enjoy our gardens blooms and visitors. 🐛

HAPPY BAT WEEK!

Bat Week

bat week was the week of Halloween. we learned lots about the bats in our region and how they are endangered. check out what we can do to help bats thrive.

FALL

Fall is a time for prep and perseverance! Its harvest time, its fungus time, & its pumpkin spice hoodie weather. We celebrate bat week as they start to migrate or move to their caves. Our focus shifts to seed collecting and garden prep for next season.

WINTER

Winter is a time of hibernation and rest. We practice survival skills and celebrate resilience and mindfulness. Some years we enjoy ice, most years we enjoy snow and every year we adjust to cold feet and wet gloves. Winter reflection gives us a game plan for the race we call spring.
